All in all autos are smaller than photosynthetic plants, because they often have a shorter vegetative cycle.. having said that, it's also part of their genetics that they grow smaller.
That's of course if all the other variables in the environment stay the same (same light, nutrients, temperature, humidity, growing medium, pot size, etc. etc..). All of those can and will make a difference in how a plant grows.
In the very beginning (like in your case in week2) i would say it's mostly genetics and then light and humidity that play a factor, but that doesn't have to say much.
Just give it some time and enjoy :)
