Plant not growing in height

Matriosky

My plant is not really increasing in height, in 20 days since sprouting it covered the 25cm diameter of the pot and now it's going out. It looks super healthy so I'm not too much worried but should I perhaps move the light higher so that the plant stretches a bit?

Hi there Matriosky, sorry but i have to disagree with my esteemed colleagues here, you have calmag deficiency as you can see from the yellowing on the serrated edges of the leafs starting with the newest growth first (immobile nutrient) and in between the veins starting at the base of the leaf. It's specifically magnesium deficiency. That's probably because of your intense light schedule : plants just need more Mg with strong lights or long schedules. So what you can do is to increase the calmag you're already feeding as well as to make a spray with calmag 1-2 ml / L and spray twice a week to compensate for the lights. If the problem persists you might need to reduce the light schedule to fix the root cause. If you do this the problem should stop spreading quite quickly and the plant should recover in around 10 days or less. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Since this a photoperiod plant it's going to do most of its stretching once the light cycle has been changed to 12/12, you also could be having issues with growth because of overwatering the soil looks extremely wet which is not good, this can cause nutrient lockouts and stunted growth.

Guessing it is a auto. They tend to stay smaller then when they hit flowering they explode in size. As long as your ph levels are in check then it is growing. If height isn't a restriction then moving light up a little might make it stretch. I personally would leave it. Would check your run off ph and if in range then keep going. 👍👍👍

Looks to be nutrient lockout due to being over watered. Try not watering her for the rest of the week.
