male's roots will soon be dead and will be decomposed and turn into food for the other one, very beneficial not deadly :)

The other one wont die. They arent autoflowers hey? The stronger plants should have its own pot to grow in as it will now compete for nutrients with the other plant. When removing the smaller plant or the male plant try and not damage the remaining plants roots too much. The plant that will be left in the pot will have a little bit of shock but it will recover pretty quickly and begin normal growth Happy growing

No, it'll be beneficial to the one that survive not to compete with limited root space. Definitely cut it with no worries and a smile.
