Dying plant

KrautFabrik
KrautFabrikstarted grow question 5 years ago
1 plant is like dying, all have the same soil and get the same feeding. I think she dot a root problem but I'm not quite sure. (no smell and she is still drinking water) Should I dump her and scrog the other 3 or should give her 1 more week? More info at the weekly description.

Ph and Ec.. don't look like this. Unless you did something Dramatically different... Which I don't think you did. I don't think you should waste your time on her but that's my opinion.. You'll get more from the healthy 3 then you will trying to nurse her back. Taking out and doing exam on the root zone is only gonna cause more stress. Your best option IMO is too just scrap her but figure out what happened with her first by doing a thorough exam of the whole plant structure.

I had the same issue , it was a combo between over watering + a recycled medium that was a water sponge + a kind of bug. So your roots zone issue diagnosis must be right , I also feel like it's gonna be a pain in the ass to make her bounce back . I would have kept the 3 others for the final run Edit : while I was looking at the nutients I saw you were using Green Buzz Liquids & when I mix these nutrients I'm often under 6 in term of PH , it happened that my ph reached 5.5 when I was using the professional schedule at the higher dosage so my "guess" is that even if soil should buffer the ph , you could habe a ph related issue , like a ph fluctuation so maybe a water runoff ph could have told us something about that. Knowing that the good ph range in soil is between 6 & 7 ( just saw 6.3 & 7.3) so even if it's not a ph fluctuation I recommend you to use a slightly higer ph during the rest of the run

Hi @KrautFabrik I am also of the same opinion, it seems to me to be a root problem. But how long has it been like this? I only watched once a plant was like this in a short time, it was like that in about a week but outdoors, ants installed themselves on the substrate and fed on the roots, the plant looked like that and when the grower realized the problem already it was too late, check the condition of the roots, you can try to unmold the substrate of the pot and trim dead roots, replace some old substrate with light mix substrate and do light watering in a small amount only of root stimulator in low doses. good luck mate to get it back 🙏👍

Okay it's definitely a root problem.. What and why I do not know.. But that's like beyond lock out. That is quite an awful looking plant. Umm she's still drinking which is weird cause my first guess would be massive break.. And with the amount of damage there if it was pests I'm sure you'd see it on plants.. I'd scrap if I was you just to see if I could figure out what is wrong with her...
