As a first time grower I am wondering about the switch to flowering nutes, should I implement after I switch them over to the new light cycle? Or should I begin before I force flowering? Indoor scrog micro grow.

Hi! Difference is in N. For veg you use NPK, for flower just PK. Plant uses N for growth which stops during first 3 weeks of flower. Thus start using flower fertilizers 1 or 2 weeks of flower phase. Btw I was giving too much fertilizers and almost burned my plants. Be careful with that! Better less then more 😂 Good luck!!!!

I feed same ratio and concentration from beginning to end. If it's a quality fertilizer, that's all you need to do.

I grow autos, but the process is essentially the same: a. Trigger flower (12/12) b. use transition nutes (or "early flower nutes" that are still high in N but higher than veg nutes in P and K, though not full bloom ratio) c. After the pre-flower stretch (2 weeks) begin tapering the N way down (its needed for the stretch), and the P but up the K (a pure bloom ratio. With autos, I can't trigger the switch with lights (or I could but I don't) but I still follow the same nute cycle as the cycle is the same.
