Help with humidity? I’m just growing in a small room in my basement no tent yet. Humidity around 40% just ambient in the room. Can I mist the plants with water to help increase humidity? Thanks

Hi there.. yes you can mist them, however i definitely suggest getting a humidifier that does this automatically for you. While of course in a regular room it might be difficult to bring up the humidity to the preferable levels, it's still better than when it's too dry. Also in case you do get a tent (which i would recommend), the humidifier can still be used in there. I have mine connected to an Inkbird humidity controller, which basically starts the humidifier when it get's too dry automatically. I just need to refill the water-reservoir in the humidifier about once a day. Once you're in late bloom, those 40% ambient would be perfect though! happy growing!

Misting every day will help! Laying down a few wet towels can also help benefit your moisture levels! If you have the time, stop by my very first grow and check it out and drop some knowledge on me! Cheers and happy growing!

Hi! Basically yes you could but better option is to hang wet towel somewhere or even better (I use this) towel in to bucket thats full of water and small fan blowing to that. Should do something atleast and in my small tent it raises the humidity more than enough
