All 3 failed grows use organic soil/perlite, fabric pots. Each grow, Tried more/less water, and more/less nutes. I'm using GO Box nutes this time. Same problem as always - bottom leaves lighten at leaf edges, veins stay green. Leaf tips brown, crinkle, travels up leaf, up plant

It’s a potassium deficiency, if it was ph related it would be bronze patches

Howdy there @GreenChick! This question is still unresolved so I will attempt to resolve it for you! These are all the signs of PH fluctuations for the following reasons! The main telling symptoms of PH fluctuations is the necrosis(dying) on the outer edges of the leaves on the bottom side of the plant. They display as chlosis(yellowing) on the edges of the leaves then very the cells in that area quickly turn brown and die. This can be avoided by feeding the plants in a way that minimizes the drastic PH swings. For example watering half as much twice as often. The idea is to keep the PH window from going to far to one side before correcting a ton. I hope this helps you gain insight and resolve your question Green Chick! If you have any other questions feel free to ask 😎

Hey man ! from my little knowledge i can tell there is some lockout and it may be because of PH problem, try to go just a little lower i had the same problem, and tree way meters dont seem to be the best in my opinion i would invest in proper PH pen if possible, 😐try giving it a little bit more calmag for sure and keep an eye on them, talking about PPM's i will talk little bit about how i like to keep mine. I start with 600 ppm for week 1 900 ppm for week 2 1200 ppm for week 3 if you go over 3 weeks veg 1500 ppm week 4 1800 ppm week 5 and hold there at bloom I flush and go to +/- 1000 PPM 1300 ppm week 2 1600 PPM week 3 1900 PPM week 4 Goodluck with your grow man ! hope i helped you out a little.

here are my thought first you are not over feeding its hard to over feed whit organic nuts know if you are feeding organic you have to have a good Rhizabateria colonia establishet because Rhizo are the once braking down the organic nutriment to make them accessible to the roots so NO RHIZO = no food to the root

Hey there, just a couple things, i see you mention fungus gnats? Id try getting some of those square sticky papers to put at soil level, itll catch a good amount of bugs. Usually gnats hint at high moisture. You could also turn loose some predatory insects like lady bugs and pirate bugs.the neem is good for getting the larvae so less hatch and become adults. What soil are you using? Most decent soil has enough nutrients for at least a couple weeks. I hope everything gets a bit better, usually time will tell. Possibly check the lights if you think its not ph or nutrients, they can cause as much spotting and burning as any toxicity/deficiencies. Best of luck, dont give up!

Hey don t worry, the issue is that you're feeding your plants too much which means that they end up locking out some leading to those symptoms. Try lower the nutes, lowering the temps with a fan and the PH of the water, will work ! Look - take a seed straight plant it in soil, water two or three times a week and I'm sure your next grow will work great ! keep it real simple it s just plant after all !

It looks like a combination of PH issues and Nutrient burn to me. I'd recommend PH'ing your water to between 6.0-6.5 and also backing down on your nutrients to 1/2 or 3/4 strength. Recommended strength from the nutrient manufacturer should be considered maximum strength. I always use less than recommended personally. Remember, its in the nutrient company's best interest for you to use up your nutrients as fast as possible, so you order more nutrients more quickly. The existing damage will not change back or get better, but you should stop seeing new leaves affected. Good luck!

Hi @GreenChick! My guess is that wrong pH, high temperatures, under-watering and too many nutrients led to this situation. Why are you working with this pH? You should stick to a 6.0-6.5 pH range so the plants will easily handle nutrients intakes. In hot environments, plants can't handle heavy nutrients doses and soil develop salts buildup. Do you check your EC? If so, what EC have you been applying for the last weeks? 13ml/L is way too much, especially when the plants are already unhealthy with burnt tips and crispy leaves. Under-watering might be involved too, if you gave 0.38L everyday for a 11L container, that was obviously not enough. Roots need to be on a wet/dry cycle to properly search for water and spread. When watering, always water with ~20% of the container's volume, keep on watering until you see the runoff coming through the bottom of the container. The runoff will help you to diagnose your issue, if you can measure its pH and EC. Finally, if you encounter issues each time you grow, you may consider posting a daily update here on GD, with all the details about your feedings/measurements/temps so we'll be able to help you adjusting your parameters. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
