Is it normal for bud sites to develop this low to the base?

Buds growing very close to base.Never seen this before and I only caught it because I was removing the crumbling bottom leafs that havenโt gotten light in two weeks. These arenโt where normal popcorn buds grow, is this a strain thing? They will not get any light, should I remove?

Hi buddy you normally remove the lower shoots shortly after the blossom has started :-) but you can still do that in an emergency ๐

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Yes that is completely normal..personally i wud just snip it off.. Only because its so close to soil.. Otherwise i wud of left it.. Stay safe n gud luck with her around harvest time..hope she turns out well 4 u.. ๐๐

Hi there!
Yes it is normal that buds sometimes developes to strange places. I had one growing straight from the trunk on hydroton levels.
You should remove the popcorn stuff to promote top growth! ๐๐ฟ

Help!? Final weeks. Revegging and foxtailing?Last week before final flush. Everything is looking pretty cloudy and was looking great. Lights Got Stuck On When It Should Have Been DarkI found last night that the timer for my lights got stuck on for close to 8 hours past when it should have been in dark period.
