sir_isOanswered grow question 4 years ago Well, if you clearly see buds/areas with very low light, growth, or potential issues, usually small popcorn, inner/lowed buds, yeah you could probably remove some of them. But imo, don't be too drastic, coz the plant will waste a fair bit of energy on trying to repair/recover.
I would remove as few leaves as possible, unless they are very obviously dramatic, and try not to remove two leaves from the same node.
In terms of boosting the last growth, I would recommend a bit of carbs, sugars. Depending on your soil, potentially citric acid (it can mobilize organic phosphorus, makes uptake more efficient) and a bit of calcium.
