Putting worms in pots?

Magic43562
Magic43562started grow question 5y ago
I dug up a fire pit 2 weekends ago and was able to keep a bunch of worms that I’ve been up keeping for 2 weeks. Is it good for the plants if I put some of those worms in the pots with them?

If you were in soil in the ground or In a planter. I'd say sure! But in a pot they can wreak havoc due to its small space. Leaving open pockets or throwing off your feedings as they begin to add nutrients to your soil. Better to have a small worm farm and just ammend in the worm castings! Happy growing!
