Purple stem

I read that purple stems can be due to many things... but I’m not sure what this could be - is it a nutrient issue? pH? “Tan”? Genetics?

Dark red or purple stems is bad during veg. Not sure how effects flower. I can see your stems are tri-toned. Add bit of cal-mag to your watering. Or put your pH around 6.7 until problem goes away.

Hi, thank you guys! She already has a cal deficiency, which I know can cause a purple stem... but if that’s all it is then it’s under control - so I’m relieved - and maybe some of it is genetics.

If the plant is otherwise healthy (looks like it is) and there are no other signs of deficiencies, then it’s just genetics. Nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Missing nutrients high phI put my moisture/light/pH thing in the soil and it is high in alkaline. We have a lot of Alkaline in our water here. Soil is made out on my growers farm. She has grown for 30yrs now. Never had these problems till this year. What can I use to compensate and bring the ph down?

Red/purple stems and Stunted growGirl Scout monkey and Funky Magnifera have red stems. I gave nutes a few days ago and it cleared all the red stems except for these two. New red tint on top of branches caused by night of low humidity or other stress?This morning I noticed some branches on my young plants had turned reddish on top.
Last night the humidifier ran out of water and RH dropped to 40% overnight.
Could this just be a stress reaction to that low RH, or sign of a deeper issue?
