When do i switch lights to flowering

Noob grower here wanting to know do i switch my light
to flowering when i see the white pistols i'm currently growing
Easy Bud Auto she's currently 3 weeks and 4 days old she's
smelling of cannabis but there's no white pistols yet???

Hey dude I just run my lights at 20 on 4 off for autos the whole grow, first 2 weeks on half power then gradually turn up to full power.

if you have an "auto" (like you stated), then you don't need to "switch to flower".. the "auto" stands for "autoflower" so it will flower automatically after some time.. the photoperiodic traits have been bred out, so switching to 12/12 will not do anything.. (and just fyi, it's called "pistils" not "pistols") :)

direct HOT sunlight on week one?Should I put her under direct sunlight? Temperature here reaches 32°C-89°F and it's not so windy, Im scared it could burn the tiny plant, I have been keeping both plants under a white mosquito net that makes the light less hot and they get some direct light untill 10 am (see pic)

Splitting the stem end of flowering period? Do or Don't?I'm not growing anything at the moment but this is a question I have for many years🙂
Do you guys split the stem on the final week/days of the flowering period?
Many believe that it forces the plant to push al the last energy to the buds but I'm not convinced by this. Opinions?

I posted this pic yesterday and was told it was a Hermi, I think people thought it was feminized. I have not seen a sign of gender till now, these were "regular" non-fem'd seeds. Do I have to worry about other plants? They are all in Veg (except for 1 auto I am playing with)
