Can i use an HPS light for veg and flower or do i need to use a MH for veg and a HPS for flower? Thanks

Hello You can definitely use an HPS for both veg and flowering, just like you can use MH for both. However if you happen to have a ballast that is interchangeable and can take both styles it would be preferable to use MH for veg because of the spectrum and HID for flowering because of it's spectrum. But you can easily get amazing results with just 1 or the other with an entire grow. Just make sure to have a decent sized grow space and some good exhaust system. Happy growing. ✌️

Hola hay bombillas mixtas en el mercado, validas para crecimiento y floración, no obstante lo mejor sería MH para crecimiento y Hps para floración, también hay gente que lo hace todo con las hps o mh, la ventaja de hacer todo con mh es que al tener rayos UV fuerzan a la planta a producir más resina, pero el peso final será inferior, lo mejor para ti sería una bombilla mixta.

Yes you can! The benefit to vegging under MH bulbs is helps the plants to not stretch so much in veg. The light spectrum is closer to spring. The HPS light spectrum is closer to autumn. Contrary to that you can also flower under MH and I have heard of good results from this so don't stress too much. 👊

HPS for both is fine, just be sure that the small plants aren't too close that they might get a burn..
