Is this nutrient burn? Had what looked like a lack of nitrogen early on, lowest leaves were healthy then quickly went yellow and worked up. Now have fed nutes at 0.7EC (tap water left for 24hrs to 0.28EC) so fed under 0.5. Bio-grow 0.5ml/l bio-heaven 1ml calmag 0.25. Thanks

Hello So with the lowest leaves do you mean the 2 tiny ones at the bottom? The cotyledons? The very first green things to open? If so those will always yellow and fall off eventually. I'd say this does look a bit like burn unfortunately. But they're not completely lost. Flush the cubes with plain ph'd water and then come in with maybe, .25 or less and maybe just the grow/heaven. But keep it as low as possible and watch for them to come back or new leaves to at least open and stay healthy before making more changes.

Thanks for replies, sorry hadnt got notifications with these replies so didnt see them until now. Have been very light on nutes but think i may have overwatered them which caused the lockouts and maybe went a bit heavy on nutes and water. Underestimated how little they need when in rockwool!

Looks like it..use sledge hammer flush and use 1/4 strength nutes.

could be a P tox? I see some dots, which look like Ca from lockout, and the necrotic tip. you added ca.. it's progressing? it's likely lockout, if you have been fertilizing regularly. if you've been light on fertilization, then pick it up and see what happens. yellowing of lower leaves too... nitro typically, but can be other things and not just deficiencies.. k-tox can cause that.

Are you experienced in rock wool because it's a bit tricky. Can't let it dry out nor can you have it directly in the water. Your top leaves are healthy all you really need to worry about . Cut the bad areas off the leaves and see if progresses.

@the_canna_scientist also i noticed that after i left my water for 24hrs the PH had risen to 6.2, i used ph down back to 5.8 but this be the reason when growing in rockwool? Is it rising when sat in the medium?

The PH started at 5.5 then moved to 5.8 as realised its probably needed. Im not sure i trust my ph pen as was .4 out when i checked yesterday so recalibrated..

Growing in rockwool, hadnt watered for 4 days until it felt lighter. But perhaps they were overwatered before? See diary. Top leaves only started showing the curling and yellowing the next day after i watered/fed.
