Roots look healthy but what’s the safest way to remove this sludgy residue on the roots? I touched it, smelled it and ruled out root rot. Can someone explain in detail how I should wash it?

It's protein and calcium. If can swap res to fresh water. And use a spray bottle to remove the excess. Don't damage the roots, a lot of time better just to run few batches of fresh water over them.

Cut off dead roots and then rinse the roots with hydrogen peroxide .I would also recommend changing the waters from the hydroponic system.🤔

White Mold at RootsI got some kind of white mold in the root area, I'm not sure what it is but I think I know what caused it, The reason is I was being kinda sloppy with letting the run off water sit under the plants for a day or two. Should I flush the plants now and cut them? And will it spread?
