Not sure if the soil was already mounded up like that, and maybe that's why or you are just covering the roots that started popping out of the crown. Just have to be careful the stems don't start to rot. It may be putting the roots out because the crown below is rotting and needs to put more roots out. Could be rootbound or lack of oxygen down low as well. Sometimes healthy plants just have lots of root-making hormones. Could be and indication of too high of humidity too.

It's nothing to worry yourself over if otherwise the plant seems healthy. Some strains/phenotypes can do this like the previous poster suggests. Cuttings from plants like this tend to take faster. I've even heard of some people actually rooting their plugs on the plant BEFORE cutting off the clone.

Hey,
You have covered your stem in soil, this can sometimes give problems, so I advise against it.
By having the stem wet and covered, it will either rot and be eaten by bugs or it will try to make roots to make use of the soil on the stem.
Luckily for you it went for roots. Don't put soil or mulch up around your stem, it is a dangerous game to play.

Can root damage cause this?The little f*cker has a major damage to his taproot since germination phase. I accidently broke the tip of it. But she was very strong. Blätter gucken aus Samen ohne Stamm?Ich habe 3 Purple Punch Samen gekauft. Eine hat eine es nicht geschafft nach 9 Tagen die Wurzeln aus dem Samen hinaus wachsen zu lassen. Mykorrhiza ohne umtopfen?ich benutze BioTabs Mycotrex und habe deswegen meine Autoflower zu erst im kleinen Topf gesetzt, um sie dann beim Umtopfen in den finalen Behälter mit diesen Pilzen zu impfen. Hierzu werden 5g des Pulvers mit in das Pflanzloch gegeben. Gibt es fßr Autoflower eine bessere Methode?

White bumps/lesions on stem base Day 19 veg auto, is it an issue?White spots/lesions growing on stem base but not on leaves or anywhere else?
This started within the last 1-3 days.
The stem "splitting" on the skin was present since it was sagging and bounced back fine.
Worried this is mold/infection from soil. Packed more soil onto the top (!)

Leaves point down/slow growth/ maybe rootbound or root rot? Did I fuck up transplanting too soon?I'm on the 3 week of the grow. The leaves started pointing down and they are growing very slowly. Since I have seen the roots on the bottom of the vase early on I thought the problem was rootbound so I transplanted them. But they are very small. Did I do wrong? Signs of root rot?
