I Noticed your pic here in the question section, those black little flies are fungus gnats. Fungus gnats are a fruit fly–sized insect pest that primarily affects indoor houseplants. They're attracted to the moisture of potting soil, adult gnats lay their eggs (up to about 200) on an organic matter near the soil surface. Fungus gnats are completely harmless to humans since they can't bite and don't spread diseases. To fix this issue , mix one-part peroxide with four parts of water, and pour it through the soil at the root zone until it begins to come out of the base of the pot. The peroxide kills fungus gnat larvae on contact. Neem oil is also an effective soil drench to combat fungus gnat larvae.
