Leaves lose majority of their function if upside down. If not important to canopy, lop it off if being too much of a pain. Probably easier to water.
Measuring is great -- i will never tell someone not to be precise... it's what i love!
Watering is an imprecise endeavour, though. Water to about 20% runoff. When top 1" dries, water again.... easy as that. By measuring, you'll be able to see how much more the plant drinks over time in a quantifiable way... very useful information for gaining familiarity and more.
By the time it is flowering, what was once a 48-hour wait may be 24 hours or less. Pot size has an impact, of course. How large you grow it, etc...

Leaves wrinkled, curled down, rubbery.Any experienced grower that can shine a light on this? If this is a deficiency, of what? I last time irrigated 3 days ago with ph adjusted water and Rhizotonic. The EC runoff is high (4) as the soil holds 20% garden compost. This is week 6 of vegetation. Sister looks fine.

Heat and light stress?I think this is heat/light stress. The tips of the leaves yellow and point upwards, while some leaves are trying to flip over. Temps get up to ~80 right under the light, and this bud gets greater than 2000 µmol, but she looked like she loved it up until this point

Dying plant / pale and twisting leaves in the middle of flowering (after heavy defoliation)Hi guys.
My Dark Phoenix is in deep shit!
It's dying and I don't know why.
The ppm is rising (around 1800 now), ph is stable at around 5.7, humidity is 35%.
The leaves are looking overall pale and some of them are twisting.
I defoliated it quite heavily.
Please help!

Should I give up on her , and start another ? Two 3 year old crop king jack herer seeds were germinated in water plu paper towel. The both cracked and 1 had about half inch tail, the other less than quarter. The smaller never broke ground, but this one came on up. But, she rough!
