Hey there growers , I wanted to know what is the max light cycle you can gube to your plants after the are flipped to flowering at 12/12. Like after completing flipping them for 12/12 for say 10 days can we increase the light cycle to 14/10 or 16/8 to increase yields.?

Thank you for the replies! I got the answer .. also does the plant need exaxtly 12/ 12 continually? Like we have power cuts in the rainy season, will it get stressed if I give them less then 12 hours a day.?

NO! you will stress your plants out and cause them to either go back into vegging or they will grow hermies and be full of seeds. Increasing the light hours will not increase yields. Added co2, training method used, strain type, nutrient schedule, VPD charts, minimum stress & top range grow lights. This will all help to increase yields.😇

Increasing ur light hours after getting a plant to flower in 12/12 would result in stress and hermie or a reveg depending on how much u increase the time... and for how long. Some varieties will start to flower in 13-14 hours light and will be safe to run on that cycle because of it. A SAFE way to find out if u have said variety is slowly lower your hour of light till u hit 14 hours. Give her a week at 14 hours cycle. Does she start to stretch and transition to flower if so ur safe to leave er there. Good luck happy growing and stay lit fam.

with a photo. You need to leave it at 12:12 for its entire flowering cycle if you try to increase the time it will reveg. Not something you want. Hopefully this helps. Happy Growing. 🤟😜
