Calyx around stem nodes

Sorry for the first-time-grower-question: are those calyx around the stem nodes as good as the ones in the buds? Anything special to know about them?

Those are ur first flowers. So they are the most mature flowers on your plant. Watching how they develop can indicate to u how the flowers will look inside ur buds as they mature. Remember those are at every node point on ur branches. So they will be inside all your buds. You dont want them to overdevelop and become mushy dieing and withering. Or that's what the inside of ur buds will look like.

yeah and they ripen first, but i wouldn't go ripping them off the plants :P Bad stress. after harvest i've taken them off and had a little bowl dried in no time and got absolutely hammered off it, lol. not worth the time to do that though. was my first harvest.
