Limiting Stretch

Hello growers! I have three plants that are currently in their stretch and are getting too wide for the tent. If I were to slightly bend some of the cola branches towards the center to try and make the plant a bit more compact, would this hurt them in any way? Thanks in advance.

It would reduce the amount of light that gets to your lower bud sites. The plant should train it's self if it gets to the edge and will just start growing up anyway. I'd just let them grow! 🤟😜

Hi. I have experimented with bending the cola branches, with success. I bent them a little bit but from 2-4 places like 5-10 cm apart. You can see it in my diary in action. Those branches did not slow at all, and are producing fatter buds than those around. You can scroll through the pics if you feel like it. The bent are in the middle of the screen. growdiaries.com/diaries/62572-royal-queen-seeds-green-gelato-grow-journal-by-ganjalab/week/314814 Be gentle, soften the tissue first with wiggling it abit between your fingers, then bend. Bending during flowering is a no no for many, I found an ok for it from a high times pro tips-list. So I tried it, it works.

You can but don't really need to... Removing some of the biggest fan leaves and lowest growth will help a little though 🌱👍

You can also Foliar fees with a seaweed mix. I hear it helps stop the stretch.✌️
