From my experience. Northern lights autos love good air flow, SOG setup, and is a very fast grower that loves a steady diet of nitrogen even into the flowering period.

Auto's don't really care. The most common answer I've seen is 18/6, but with seedlings and well into veg, I keep it 24 hours. Autos flower when it's time to flower. Light doesn't play a part.

For the first two weeks I like to run 20-24 hours, then switch her down until 18 hours a day once she has established a good foot hold in early veg. I have noticed this extra light on my tangie grow has put my plants a week ahead of some of the best tangie grows I've seen on here. I like to run extra light in flower to pump the bud weight so I keep the light at 16-18 a day in flower. 24 hours of darkness before harvest.

I've done successful grows with 24/0, but I've since read that it's best to have some off hours (lots is happening when lights go out!) so 18/6 is what I do now and recommend to fellow growers 😎

I think all living things benefit from sleep. So i personally don't use the 24 hour schedule. I think a 20/4 or an 18/6 is best.

In my experience with autos... I've tried all types of light cycles... I've had best result with 20 hours on 4 hours off. I found 24 hours on didnt improve yield just finished a touch faster. But the all around health of the plants seemed to suffer from lack of night time. Seemed alot more open to stresses. 18 hours didnt yield as much as the 20/4 and took roughly a week longer to finish. Consensus 20/4 light cycle is ur best option with autos. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
