I tested the PH of the run off water today and the result was 7.2, pretty above the number I want, 6.5. So i bought ph up down but i still have a doubt: which PH should water (with fertlizers and PH down) to water the plants be to get the soil PH to go down to 6.5?

Hey bro! 👋 The math is simple, if you have 7.2 and want to get 6.5, take their difference 7.2-6.5=0.7 Subtract the difference from the desired value 6.5-0.7=5.8 The first flush should be without nutrients, just water, about 20-30% of the pot volume with a pH of 5.8, until you get drainage values of 6.6-6.4, then prepare a nutrient solution with a pH of 6.5, flushing with 7-10% of the pot volume. Everything will recover and stabilize! 👌😇👍 Good luck, bro!

If your at 7.2 and want it down to 6.5 you should pH down your feeding water to around 5.8-6.0 and then check the run off the next time you water. Hope this helps friend. Happy growing.. 👊
