Why did the smell almost disappear?

buds are drying and have been hanging for about 4 days. They still have awhile to go. But I noticed they have a hay/chlorophyll type smell and the bud smell is pretty much gone... will it come back during the curing or did I fuck up some how?
Its been 65⁰-72⁰ Humidity 40-50%

Hey, that’s normal for the smell to go down during drying. And once you are done drying(maybe 3-7 days) then you put them in the glass jars and let them cure for a few weeks( I open the jars once a day for an hour) then the smells comes back and it’s awesome.

Dont fret! It's normal. When the chlorophyll starts breaking down in the leaves, you end up with a weak, hay smell. After the drying is done, ypu can cure and the terpenes will develop amazing smells. Sometimes the smells are completely different from the smell you got while growing! Get some Mason jars and bovada packs. Best of luck, they look great!

It is normal. During the curing the smell will come back with a vengeance.

No, it won't come back during curing it actually will start to smell more like dank as the curing process goes on, and no you didn't mess up, your doing things right, so keep it up my friend. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

I have two drying options for my one plant. Wine fridge with perfect temp or closet with perfect humidity. Which is best?Should I dry my one plant in a wine fridge with a compressor that causes the humidity to fluctuate between 50-70% but can be set to a perfect 60f, or should I dry in a closet with perfect 60% humidity but temp at a steady 74f with no way to lower it? I currently have 2 plants growing. 1 of them has clearly bloomed faster and I will have to harvest it earlier.

How long after the last flush, do you wait until you chop your plant?
Do you let it dry out so the pot is nice and light before you harvest? Or is a little moisture left in the soil ok? Did last flush 48 hrs ago and I'm itching to chop her down, but still slightly damp soil

To now 16.6c 51%rh.
