? for experienced growers. 2 lights running. Plant genetics aside my Hortilux bulb may be causing stretch (more than I want). Node spacing is more than 2x's when compared to Ultrasun bulb and the Hortilux has my ladies tall. How far is to far for node spacing? Advice?

Hello @schmorgastheborg ! Anything above 5-6 cm is to far for node spacing. Maybe its a sign that the lamp has lost her strength or its just genetic because i don't think 20 inches is too high. I usually use every lamp for 2 grows only. Just try to place the lamp as close as you can without raising the temperature at the tops of the plants and hope for the best. Happy growing ! 👊

Hello, Yes your Girls are stretchy, a bit to much . Stretching means always they dont get enoughLight.or the Qualitiy of light is not enough. Normally i would say 600 w Hid would be enoughfor them to grow nice and dense . If i look at the pictures everything seems to be good. BUt your plants show lack of light.check your parmeters ( really 600 w=?), maybe change the Bulbs .Happy growing

That's relative. But they do look stretchy; the problem here it's the distance to the bulb, 20 inches is too far making the plant get only a small amount of light, thus the stretch trying to reach more light. You can either place the bulb closer, hoping not to cook the seedlings or veg with other light that does not give that much heat. Check my diary #2 High Level, I vegged with Screw in LED bulbs, they give almost no heat, and before flower the plants had 9 nodes in 6 inches.
