Hello everyone, What do you think? 2nd defoliation was too aggressive or is it ok? I'm a little bit nervous. See last 7 photos of week 6.

A bit aggressive. Autoflowers do not need aggressive defoliation. Your leaves are what produce your energy to produce the colas. I woukd not touch it again

In my opinion looking at one plant i a tent that is streched and already has hardly any big fan leaves left, does not need any aggressive def. When the plant has stopped streching/ growing wait one week and then take the uppor leaves away if any to give the buds downward more light. airflow seems ok and lighting also so far. I only def if i have overfilled my room or when a new strain is too bushy but then only when it stops streching or growing. Your plants looks good so leave it as it is.

Defoliation is not necessary, only use it to control extreme problems.

@autoflowerssuck buddy, you can defoliate the shit out of automatic flowers, train them to you liking just like photoperiods, but use your head first. You need to understand what you're looking at. Have a purpose to manipulation. Check out my latest grow, the fast buds purple lemonade is an automatic strain but you probably didn't see such a big automatic nor photoperiod in a while XD

greenAF, Actually I had too many reasons to do the defoliation: first of all, my grow tent is only 40x40 sm, so, all the leaves and bud sites I removed were in shadow, they were touching each other and produced some kind of water, which I think can be one of the reasons to couse mold and some other problems. I really think, what I did was necessary, but still afraid of potential negative results. Thank you all for your answers once again. Happy growing 👽

No plant "needs" aggressive defoliation, you use Defoliation as a tool to accomplish something, whether it be better airflow , humidity control, better light penetration, or getting rid of what would be small buds/larf so the plant dumps that energy into the bigger buds. Never do something just because you see others do it. I prefer to do a little bit a lot. There are techniques, where you do more aggressive scheduled defoliation, but I certainly have not done that. But the easy answer is, if your plant is overstressed after it was to aggressive. And yeah I'm not a fan of autos... like most ppl I started with them because I wasn't educated at that point and it seemed that would easier for a newbie. But in reality photos give you much more control and are more forgiving. If you f up can always address the issue and just run a longer veg. But if the reason your running auto is because of probable light pollution your kinda stuck with them. GL and keep growing.

definitely, but at least you should have some vege growth remaining and some leaves will grow. even if it were a photoperiod at same point, it'd be he same concern. vege growth abates 4 weeks or more after flower starts -- whether you understand when it starts or not in an auto. it's still a similar timeframe after that point for each.

Don't grow Auto's! If it was a photo period plant, i'd say it looks great! But it's an auto............ Plucking off a fan leaf that is blocking a top from getting light is worth while. The top is more valuable and worth more than a fan leaf. And i know people say "don't remove the fan leaves they are the plants energy system" Well, if that's the case then explain to me how there are guys out there getting nearly 5lb harvest from a 4x4 tent? It's called scrogging and defoliation. But again, we're talking what the big boys grow (photo periods) not the girly man's plants (auto's)

Less leaves means less energy & smaller buds. Be careful you do not shock her further & risk her turning into a hermaphrodite.
