Sounds like she either has a poorly developed root system or you're overwatering when you water.

Slow growth / not spreading out much / compact plant. What gives ? Should I attempt to defoliate to get more light in there / pump more nutes ?Any advice on making it grow faster ? I'm in the 7th week of veg and it's not as bushy as it should. Still growing, just slow. It doesn't seem to want to spread much horizontally / fan leaves are staying relatively small. Is Top-fed DWC schedule ok?Ive set 5minute schedule topfed DWC to avoid keeping the roots too soggy. My soil is made of 8 rockwool attached together to form a bigger cube and 1 rockwool on top where I placed the initial seed, to protect the roots. What you think? Are roots ok or too small?10mo ago
