UV light

Hi Mike. Safety tip: Glass stops UV rays. If you have to be in the room with the UV on, wear real glass over your eyes. Chuck.

i use my uva/b light at the end of my veg cycle, i start little by little i run it for 10-15 minutes for the first week then bump it up to 45 minutes. i like to run it esp. during the flowering time, it helps and i do notice a difference

Dear Mike, I don't think most of the growers use separate UV light for their growth either with HPS or with LEDs. However, in most of the LED models, there are 1-2 UV light on the board (the ones without any colour when open, invisible to us). Hope this helps, Y
