Virtually no trichomes. Cause for concern?

About 10 weeks. Her sister started at same time is pretty much ready for harvest with frosty buds. Even my 5 week old flowering auto has pungent trichs on her tiny buds Is it common / often that a bud would get this dense before developing trichomes? There’s virtually none

the bracts at base of the stigmata haven't plumped up yet, so i'd say you are okay. You have a long blooming variety is all. (See my F#1, 55 days in and no plump either vs. my GB diary where it was ripe-looking after 35 days) So, don't worry... once it starts looking like a real bud, you can have more concern if they haven't shown up by that point. * oh, my timing is all relative to photoperiods, so a little translation is needed on the values, but same general concept applies. When you see the base of the hairs more easily, i bet you see triches in there... oh, check a lower pre-flower at a node... bet it's frosty. should help allay current fear.
