Residue on leaves? Salt like

Bigbucket
Bigbucketstarted grow question 4 years ago
Has anyone experienced this, or is there any need to worry. Leaves have a almost salt like residue on the leaves, plants are near dirt areas that could be what it is, wipes off with rubbing thumb on leaves, is this anything to worry about?

Start shaking your plant after it's rained. It'll also help a little with preventing mold in the buds once they get bigger. And as rhodes wrote, look up what powdery mildew is, and how to get rid of it.

rhodes68 is right, it's Powdery Mildew. Spray them with a mixture of one tablespoon of baking soda and one half teaspoon of non-detergent soap with one gallon of water. Increase the airflow and lower the humidity to around 45% and sterilize your grow area. Happy Growing
