Does anyone else defoliate a hand full of leaves everyday? I do it to let the light shine down, and let the tops rise up!

some say not to defoliate
some say do it
i do it plenty not a case of wanting to its a case of having to or buds would get no light
does it hurt personally i do not think so the plant is used to having branches leaves broken in winds and rain so dont see it hurting

And that's why you have plenty of new growth π.
Big leaves have sugars the plant needs, new smaller leaves don't, so try to defol less big leaves next time or lst them down n see how it goes.
Looking good n healthy m8 but if a plant have issues it's bad idea to defol too often.

I don't defoliate every day but at least once a week, I'm currently dealing with an Original Auto Skunk that just loves to grow like a bush. Lol.

Thrips or else ?I have thrips on both plants : spotted them 2-3 weeks ago.
I sprayed them with black soap, it seems to slow down damages on one of them, but the other plant is getting worse.
Could you tell if it is still caused by the thrips, or something else ? A dicease, nutes ? Solutions ?

Light patches on leaves, from middle specificallyLight patches/spots on leaves, as pictured. Occurring on both plants :(( I've discovered what I think are fungal gnats today (not a huge infestation thank god haha), could it be a symptom of those? Or is this a known deficiency/burn?

Potassium deficiency?Is this a potassium deficiency? Before it happened my water was on 930ppm on the 4th week of flowering. now the 5th week has started and to correct this problem I have added 1 ml of pk 13-14 to the diet. So ppm is now 1100. Do you have any advice? thanks a lot to everyone!
