I am not sure what’s going on with plant A (pictures above). Does this look like a CalMag deficiency? The CalMag at 5mls per gallon seems to be working but I’d love to know what some of you other growers think? Thank you for reading this post and thanks for any advice given. 🙏

Hey there, so with the leaves being on the bottom im going against a calcium deficiency because although it has similar coloring it usually attack the upper part of the plant. With you using the sensi bloom their main pitch is not needing to ph, that its already balanced and that it contains everything a plant needs...however they do show using 4ml at this stage, so id say bump them up slightly again, maybe to 2.5 or 3ml first and watch for no more leaves being affected. If you're not already using a and b together i would suggest starting that as the auto clock is ticking away. Good luck with the problem solving, i hope we've all been able to help some. ✌️

Can I ask where you got this “ponytailing” idea from? That’s completely foreign to me. As for magcal I need to know what kind of water are you using? Because if it’s tap then it’s not a mag or cal deficiency unless your tap is particularly pure. If you’re using a ro water then teas it’s most definitely a magcal issue. Now back to the ponytailing. Not only have I not seen this method I cannot think how it could in any way benefit your plants. Leaves are solar panels for your plants. They take the nutrients you provide, mix it with the energy of the suns radiation and form sugars the plant can use. So how can depriving leaves of that needed energy help? Let’s re think this idea together no?

Hiya there moms, i never do this usually but i do have to disagree with athos on this one, not seeing what he's seeing here unfortunately. I do see over green leaves, but it doesnt look toxic, and i do see calmag deficiency probably due to the vegetation stretch and not using cal mag in soiless is a big no no ! to be honest i'm impressed she went that long without it. However what this looks like to me is a combination of that and PH fluctuations and perhaps the start of phosphorous deficiency, actually for the reason athos said - i guess i only disagree a little bit after all ! i would suggest spraying the plant with a cal mag solution (twice the dose for watering in some water), spray until wet three times a week. switch to bloom nutrients and reduce the PH to 5.8 ... the plant should recover with minimal impact on potency and yield, hope this helps ! 🚀

Hello there. First of all, no is not a calcium deficiency. What it looks like is actually two things; first the super dark green foliage is nitrogen toxicity and the lower leaves with partial yellowing form the tip to the base with rust spots is potassium (K) deficiency. Remember that cal mag has some nitrogen too. What I would do is dial back the grow nutes and add some bloom nutes, because your plant is trying to flower, thus the K deficiency. Good luck
