Hi, the bottom leaves have gone yellow on some of them and they have little white spots on the bigger leafs, I have detected whiteflies and assuming that this is caused by them but can anyone confirm this for me or is there another problem I don't know about?? Thanks guys!

Hey, hey if you’ve id’d white flies then I’d start with neem oil as the general “fix-all”. Or if you’ve sourced another foliar spray then perfect - apply and see what happens. Based on your feeding sched. The yellowing prob. Isn’t nute burn. If you’re referring to the cotelydons then they may simply be dying off. I wouldn’t worry too much about this until/if it starts to translate to the actual leaves. I’ve seen it before myself but not until somewhat later. No need to worry just yet though - monitor and see how it goes. 👊👍 good luck dude!

Hi @ghendrix! Yellowing is usually a sign of a nitrogen deficiency, it means that either your soil is poor, either your current pH does not allow Nitrogen absorption. You should apply a pH range around 6.0~6.2, not above, not below. Now about whileflies, I've experienced very good results using neem-oil. Mix 10~12 drops of pure neem-oil in a liter of water, spray at night when the sun is down, or in the morning before the heat (spray everywhere, onto and below the leaves). Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
