Don't flush unless you have some kind of toxicity. To trim, cut off all of the fan leave first. Then cut off a Y shaped section. Start trimming off all of the sugar leaves while rotating the buds. Trim over some kind of container to catch the trimmings. Holding the stems at an angle, upside down seems to work best for me. Dont worry about cutting off some of the bud. While you want to keep it to a minimum, you'll be catching all of the trim to use for concentrates later. Find a multi pack of bonsai clippers online. They are super cheap and work well. Freeze trimmings and hang buds off a line to dry (this is why you want to trim Y shaped sections). After drying and small stems almost completely snap, cut the buds off the stems and place into Mason jars with 62% bovada packs for curing. Open the jars for 10 minutes at least twice a day for a few weeks. At that point you're all cured and will have killer tasting buds.

Flushing - Start feeding strait water 10days to 2 weeks prior harvest - helps decrease the number of harsh chemicals in the plants. **See this article for additional information: https://www.leafly.com/news/growing/flush-cannabis-plants When to Harvest - Using a Jewelers Loop or a USB Microscope look at the trichomes on the buds, not the leaves, and look at the overall color of them, you are looking for the overall % to be Milky, not Clean, I personally like them to be in the high 80 to 90% range of cloudy with about 5 tp 10% of the trichomes to be the color AMBER some folks like a larger % of amber. **See this article for additional information: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest Drying / Curing - I keep my girls n a dark tent, with sight air movement, I keep my temps between, 62F and 68F (Just because that is as tight as I can get it) Starting my humidity at 55% for the first 3 days then ease it up to 60% from there until the buds are dry using the twig snap technique / and seeing how they feel. I cure for at least 2 weeks in Mason Jars but lately, I have been using food grade totes, they work great for burping, I burp a few times a day for the first week, them a few a week for the second week, then weekly after that. **See this article for additional information: https://www.growweedeasy.com/drying-curing Trimming - Wet Trim vs. Dry Trimming; I trim tight at harvest, the more leaves stems, and non-bud material that goes into the drying tent will take longer for the initial moister level to drop enough for the buds to actually start to dry, I like to make sure that during this time it is as short a time as possible and is why I have the humidity at 55% I have even increased airflow if the is a lot of extra materials hanging to dry to help prevent mold and rot. **See this article for additional information: https://www.leafly.com/news/growing/how-to-trim-cannabis-plant-buds There are many Youtube videos and articles at Grow Weed Easy and Leafly to get you in the ballpark, finding your own comfort zone is up to you, 10 people will tell you 10 different things, so read between the lines, their answers will be driven by their environmental controls, find those and master them for greater success! Hope this helps, My Jones
