So random question - going to start a new job soon...

So random question - going to start a new job soon. (I have a medical card, doesn’t matter). I will have to take a drug test. I have not smoked or eaten any cannabis in over a month- but, can touching plants every day cause you to fail??? Internet mixed. Anyone have real results?

There is a tolerance in the test. I have to deal with them many times, in my state the tolerance is 0.25 , i can smoke one joint every two weeks after a month pause ( nearly the time to expell al the residue in my body with a fast metabolism, maybe it can take a little bit longer) and i was always a lot under the tolerance. You can also stay in a room with others smoker for all your day and the levels will not increase. Touching cannabis plant will not cause any fail because you will not absorb any becarboxyllated cannabinoids ( the test search them)
You can be sure that you will pass it, to calm your mind you can wear gloves but they will not help in other way 😉✌️🏽

So my sister was in a program where she had to be tested very often and her boyfriend is a big time smoker for various ailments and even though my sister doesn't smoke she kept popping up with 4 nanograms. I can't say for absolute sure but we believe it was down to kissing or second hand exposures like that.
Personally i think with just touching uncut plants that haven't been smoked..decarboxylated etc there won't be thc converted and absorbed by your system. I know veg stage plants don't contain thc yet, as for flowering I think you'd be more at risk by handling resin/pipe cleaning etc than the actual buds.
Maybe snag a thc test from a pharmacy store if you need to be absolutely certain. They're fairly cheap nowadays.
