This is my first grow! How close should my 50W LED light be to my seedling while I wait for the MarsHydro TS600 to arrive next week? I have this light from amazon : https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07S1MRVRP/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A20WFP7LQVUC91&psc=1

you need to have your light set at between 16-18 inches away from seed. with your new light you will have it set at 28 inches until flower where the new one will be at 16-22 inches, hope this helps

There is a chart on amazon but is pretty shit, in my opinion nearly 60cm from the seeds it will be fine, maybe a little bit more.

Light distance from plant top My light is https://phytolite.com/pl_PL/shop/product/cree-naked-cob-60w-327 Recommended dist. to plant top by manufacturer is 40cm (16in) . Mine dist. is 58cm (23in) currently as I tried to keep it far during seedling stage, can I lower the lamp to 40cm at this stage? (day 11)

SF-1000 safe distance and dimmer for seedlings in soil?my seedlings are stretching and not growing in size. soil, autos, dropped in water 7 days ago and moved to soil in solo cups. What are people running the SF-1000 at for seedlings? I was at 30" and 20% but that's not good clearly. I've moved to 24" @ 45% so far.

Veg lighting approach? Switching from cfl to hps?I started my second grow a couple weeks ago with a 130w cfl in my 1m veg cupboard. I’m thinking I will make the switch to a 250w hps soon. I don’t want to overheat the space. Do you think this is a good strategy? I’ll flower the autos in my 1.4m tent with 600w hps.

Swapping day/night light cycle during flower Day 22 of flower. Lights are on during the day, 8am-to-8pm but we need to switch to 8pm-to-8am to use the colder night air to cool our lights without using a/c. Would it negatively affect the plants at this point in flower to give them 24hrs dark & completely swap light cycle?
