Anyone else also use far red for emerson effect and get extra night hours really see a difference too? For sure they seem to be praying a lot harder after setting it up. They sure seem to be finishing faster.

@GYOweed HI MATE definitely seems to be doing something I have been doing some reading up on the emerson effect and noticed that more LED light manufacturers are also adding more "far red" light diodes into their products

Make sure not to use any red light for 72 hours prior to 3 days of darkness.

Yo uso una bombilla de rojo lejano 730nm (10w), la enciendo 15 minutos antes de apagar las luces y la mantengo encendida 30 minutos después de apagadas las luces, mis cultivos en floración crecen con un horario 13/11h. Saludos

Yeah I mean a large majority of led products out there have a handful of far red ~660nm diodes included but it seems you’ve taken it a step further and have an additional strip of dedicated ones.. and you’re running them on their own for a bit at the beginning or end of light cycle? Looks good tho in that video of the bud up close.. keep doing what you’re doing and trust your instincts!

I can not say I have used them. I understand the logic behind them and think its interesting and I like it. If they are needed is another question. As a basic tool for a hobby grower, probably not needed. As a more professional tool for really narrowing down your environment and settings for massive yields. Quite useful Its the cost vs benefit analysis that's hard to set it apart as good or bad. But if money is no open, then YES. If you find it helps you. A+ keep on going. If you find it does not. PM me and you can ship them to me and I'll test them out ;) Your plants look nice btw. Keep up w/e it is you do. Happy Growing!
