It is a fungus gnat. Had an infestation once before i knew what they were. Took a cpl weeks to get rid of them as the lay eggs every 3 days. The simplest way to kill of the larve and the flies without solutions is to let at least the first inch of soil to become dry before you water. The lack of moisture will kill the larve and the fungus the flies feed off of and fly tape will get the adults. If you catch it early on you can rid your grow of them in less than a week. I placed in a glass a solution of vinegar apple juice, water and some dish washing soap next to my plant and i also sprayed with neem oil. I killed 3 and more two are on the ceiling can't reach them.. I also placed perlite on top of my soil.. Will that work??

One other thing... their feces is harmful to the soil and the plant itself. If left untreated fungus gnats can kill a plant.

First Grow 4 weeks into Veg - Let my humidity get too high for 1 night. Need help with mold/septoria/?Last 3 days I've pruned diseased leaves every morning, foliar sprayed peroxide leaves & topsoil, & added some to watering solution. Is only affecting one plant in tent. Humidity no longer issue (was waiting 4 inline fan). If I keep pulling off leaves it's going to die anyway.

SilverfishI found a silverfish (is this the correct name?) in the soil of a plant; obviously I immediately threw it out and checked if there were others by moving the ground a little, but how do I make sure I make them disappear? or do you know if they can be harmful to the plant? 😭Week 1

Little green monstersSo, I'm in week 2 of flowering and things are going fairly well with the exception of little green bugs, they don't look the same as the 1st ones I found. I have neem oil used it lightly but I was reading not to use it during flowering. So can I or no? Is there something else

Thrip in a bud?!So, today arrived my microscope to check trichomes and as I was looking them suddenly appeared a thrip on the lens. I´ve been dealing with them in my grow for about 2 weeks now. It´s not that bad but a thrip in the bud is enough for me.

creepy crawliesI got creepy crawlies. Clipped the entire leaf, mixed abt 3 drops of neem oil in 100-150ml tap water and sprayed the f*ck out of it. Then I checked the rest of my plants, found nothing but decided to spray them anyway. When should I re-apply? Any adverse effects of neem oil?

leavesMy leaves are funky, I am working on the aphid issue I see no eggs only bugs which I remove. Idk what the issue is my ph looks good so does moisture, not sure if my pistols look ok on some (pics) lowered my nutrients from 2tsp per gal to 1. Stems look redish on some leaves. 12w

BugsSo, I found these little boogers on my girl, only two so far. I think they might be the cause for some of nibbling damage. I removed the horribly damaged leaves, I might have introduced too much of the flowering nuits at once, causing burn possibly.
