Zweibelanswered grow question 4 years ago I've only just started growing, so I'm no expert, but what I've read so far suggests that you should germinate autoflowers in the substrate you intend to grow them in, the reason being that autoflowers have a relatively short lifespan and thus litle time to recover from stress, which transplanting generally involves. I planted my Fast Eddy directly in the soil and it worked out fine.
