If it is an auto flowering plant, do not top. Is there a reason why you need to top your plant? Topping will generally slow your plant for about 2 weeks while it recovers from this traumatic experience. If you are going to top your plant for whatever reason, use clean sharp scissors or garden shears, this way you will limit the potential for damage. I have found low stress training/tying the plants down a more effective and less traumatic method of increasing flower production. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Is this your first time growing? Do you have height limitations? Try running a plant as is for it’s first run...its going to be the true expression of the plant. If you insist on topping, do it anytime you’re good to go. Good luck

Yep, you are at the perfect point now. I just grab rite bellow that top bud with your thumb and finger and hold it in place and then spread the 2 top large leaves enough to grab onto that entire top bud with your other thumb and finger and pluck it off quickly. If you are holding bellow it good and get ahold off the entire top bud good it should just pop rite off. Sometimes if you don’t grab the top bud completely and you pull it, it won’t pop the entire bud off, but instead will just rip the top of the bud off, this is still fine as it will Fim your plant instead and you will get 3-4 tops instead. Hope this helps. Cheers💨
