LST/Topping for autoflowers?

Growing an afghan kush auto and a skunk villain auto (both 5 gal pots) in a snug 2.5 x 2.5. Wanting a uniform height I wasn't sure if I should top and/or train either- was thinking LST for the Skunk? Would also like to keep height mod. without sacrificing too much on the harvest.

I topped autos many times because I used a long but low closet and they always recovered fine. But you can't just choose to let them recover the way that you want. So when you've got the space and height I would recommend LST and just bend the higher branches down so that the lower branches will grow at the same height and for that recieve the same light from your lamp. Although some people successfully top autos, it's really not recommended... LST and scrogging would be the techniques you should consider first.. Autos have a set schedule inside them and major stress can disrupt that... they really don't have TIME to recover from it... Good luck!

I met this kid yesterday that said he waters his plants every day and not to LST. My plan was to make the plants grow in a spiral essentially. I just wanted to hear everyone else’s opinion on this kids statements. He has like 2.5 grows under his belt where I only have .33 grows.

Rate my LST Third round of topping. Trying to bend the branches in the usual way so "pulling down", the "Y split" in the topping sites always break/open. So I'm trying this way with ropes and engraved sticks to PUSH the branches away from the inside. What do you think? Alternatives? -DD

Node distance and LST Wondering if I should do something to increase node distance. I see so many journals of people doing LST and their plants seem to be stretched so much more and it seems much more clear where and what to train. Is this ok? Good? Terrible?

Top and then FIM auto?I topped this ILGM skunk auto on Day 12 and she’s tolerated it well. Today is Day 14. I want to go all-in and now Fim the new growth. risky, but I’m going for it. I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried this. Should I fim new growth on both sides vs just one? Thx!

Have a 50x50x100cm tent with mh ts600 4'blk orchid fan, think im gonna run it well with scrog and plenty of fim/top bt i have a 70cm 4 wk flowering auto outside can i put this in with light 30cm above and run it for flower in tent now? Or chop half way and run it as say test ru?

Topping Hi guys. Do my plants need topping if I have little space (60x40x120cm) and I am planning a scrog? Are the plants ready for topping? After topping, I plan to use only lst + scrog, no mainlines/manifolds. I also plan to turn on the lights 12/12 in a week or two. Thanks!
