My plant's got a name - Melanie. She fights against the pests. We suppose that the yellowish colour of the leaves are caused by them. As I decided to help her, I used the insecticide called Dursban. As a result, the pests' number has lessened but not totally removed. Do you have

I certainly wouldn't smoke anything that has been sprayed with Dursban. It is a very toxic poison. The fact that it was banned by the EPA in 2001 should ring major warning bells. It is a neurotoxin related to nerve gas! PLEASE, PLEASE throw this plant away for the sake of your health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time try using a better draining soil mix and keeping the soil moist, rather than wet and this will eliminated many of your current problems. Hope this helps..... Organoman. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CONSUNE ANY PLANT YOU HAVE SPRAYED WITH DURSBAN. IT IS A DEADLY TOXIC CHEMICAL. IT WILL MAKE YOU VERY SICK.

I can’t say Dursban is safe or suitable for cannabis, and that’s even if I was not an organic farmer. Shits nasty. Next time, don’t spray insecticide or anything that ends in -cide. You have a world of other solutions. I’ve never drawn a correlation between pests and yellow leaves. That’s normally N related. You can simultaneously experience a pest issue but the two are unrelated. Safe, nontoxic solutions include Diatomaceous earth (powder you top dress soil and apply to leaves before flower), ladybugs (beneficial predator), among others. Both are Che-, non toxic, and good for the earth. Your growing something you’re going to eventually smoke, I assume. Good luck
