Do stems thicken up during flower?

More a question out of Idol curiosity, I've managed to train an even canopy with what will hopefully be 7 main colas, and there's a few sites that aren't in the top canopy that look like they could do well
Will the stems continue to thicken with a fan on them when flower starts?

Your plants know what to do, they will be fine. More of a problem with stretched plants growing without not enough light. Yours seems quite stocky, so should cope with flower weight.

Preflower at 5weeks?Didn’t think this was anything at first but her showing that’s she female (3 other strains show the same without the long white pistils). I’m wondering is she preflowering? If you check my diary for any other info:fox farm soil, outside, 13hrs sun, etc. hope it’s not an auto.

Auto/fems flowering a month apart, but showing signs of yellowing.Late bloom is the problem still needs wks or more. Is it the genetic of autos to have ?sSo the first flowering plant almost ready to harvesy! The second that bloomed a month later, yellowing w pistols still 80% white. Male or female?I see this today, i hope that it's a she and not a he :/ what do you think? I only see a few of polen sacs and nothing more weird for a female plant but this on the top of the bud is rare. If she is a he, what should i do? Is this over development of the buds?

Strange shapped (pear) things under the budHi fellow growers, could someone please tell me what are a pear shaped buds on my Mimosa Lemon Auto Fem plant.
