Hi, has anyone grown Mimosa Evo, by Barney's Farm outdoors? If so, how did she do? I grow in pretty high mountains in Northern Cali so I need a hardy plant. And when did yours finish in the fall? Where did you grow her?

It’s got too much sativa influence for me to run outdoors full term at elevation. Harvest outdoors 3rd/4th week of October if you’re in NorCal. Depending on where are you are in CA you’re looking at snowfall then too. Dangerous. Tendency of this strain outdoors is it wants to stay in flower vs finish early. Depends on the pheno too.
Are you popping seeds now and asking this in anticipation of a full term outdoor run? Or are you running light dep? Light assisted winter grow in a greenhouse?
Just trying to get more details so i can get you a better answer. Great genetics but not something I would run outdoors at high elevation. I look towards Indica dom strains that flourish at high elevation UV exposure, all with strong landrace influence like afghani, pakistani, hindu-kush and nepali crosses, fwiw. Cheers

Thanks so much for the info and thoughts on growing Mimosa Evo outdoors. I'm selecting the varieties for next years outdoor grow, no light dep or greenhouse, so the plants have to be able to handle the elements. We can harvest into October, but the plants usually get some damage from the wind storms that we get along with the rain and snow, hah! where we are on a ridge top at about 4,000 feet. So early October is better than later.

We are up in Nor.Cal. but I've never grown that strain. Our harvest window was about the middle of October. I don't see any reason why she wouldn't do good outdoors. 🤘😤
