Indoor start and then move outdoor

Complex question: I'm going to start my seedlings indoor and move them outdoor after almost one month of vegging. I live in the North of Spain where there will be 13 h and 1/4 when I'm planning to move outdoor. Are they going to stay in veg if I start them in a 13/11 cycle?

"If I use 14/10 instead and then move outside when there will be 13hrs and 1/4 from sunrise to sunset, is it going to be ok to keep my plants in veg?" Yes. Official Sunrise to Sunset is sort of a guide line. But with 13 hours of day light you'll have 1-2 hours of low light but the plant will still interpret this as being in season and will continue Vegging. When fall comes and it swings the other way the same thing happens. Your plant will start to flower before official sunrise and sunset is 12 hours. The shortening of the days tells the plant it's time to start to flower. I live in a Colder Climate gets around -10 during November. But Iv'e never had a photo plant come up late yet. One we had to blanket at night to keep it warm but other then that it was a pretty successful harvest. Hope this helps and happy growing.

Hi, Iam starting my outdoor Plants most Time Indoors. So they tend to have a better stronger start. I dont think that they went into flower, because the light is every day alittle longer ( a few minutes every day) And thats what the plant notices too... light is rising not sinking..... But i have to admit that such a short difference between light and darkness is tricky. Because of living in northern europe my outdoors start end of april, that means i have 14 hours of daylight. I think you wont get a problem with your 13 Hours of light, because the Lightperiod is increasing every day

I didn't express well. I would like the plants to stay in veg until autumn, so I'm starting them indoor and then move them outdoor to continue the natural cycle.

I have my interior, but if it is sunny i good temperature I take them outside and 1 hour before sunset or if it is cold wind, they return to the interior until their end of cycle. I have problems with any of her, but I am the culprit, not the stress with the transfers, because the pots are marked with cardinal points. 3 auto in my grow with cycle 16/8 I live in Interior of Catalonia ( more or less the same climate ) suerte 😜

hey bro , i did this once , but then i had to move them inside (dark) after the 12 hours so they keep flowering , giving her light for more than 12 hours is big risk , i wont do that :D unless you wanna try that for Experiment

They will stay in veg until the hours of lighting are 12hours or less. Then they will start to bloom.

I have the same type of light cycle up here in Canada in the spring. I normally plant clones out bit later than seeds. You probably will confuse it if doing 13hrs. If wait 2-3 weeks will be closer to 14 and will be fine then.

13/11 schedule is to close to 12/12 there for there will be a good chance after a few days the ladies will go into the flowering stage.

Consideration: 13 1/4 hours from Sunrise to Sunset. Not considering twilight
