Run off ph problem

Hi all. Just done a water run off ph it and it's 5. Growing in soil ph'd all feed to 6.3. How's this happened and how can I sort it out thanks

Soil ph changes over time. The best way to fix it in soil is to make sure you are getting 20 % runoff every time you water. You can also adjust feed ph to 6.8 to speed up the process slightly. Happy growing.

pH woes. To water or not to water, that is the question.The tap water I've been watering my plants with is very alkaline, the pH came out to around 10 when I measured it with a digital reader. Should I water it again with pH adjusted water early or wait until the soil dries out to avoid overwatering? Soil and nutes pH was ~8.6.Week 3

Does Liquide phenol red work to check the water PH?Liquide Phenol red is the cheapest alternative ive got. It should range between 6 and 8. But it say s for uses at pools and hot tubs, should be more or less accurate and get the job done right? As i can easily see diferences between 6.0 and 7.0? Thank you! :DFeeding. Other

Only Bloombooster ?is it ok to just give Calmag and bloombooster from here till harvest ? i ask this because the PPM is pretty low (300) but o cant give more then 1ml/L bloombooster says the bottle. i just want to cut out the (N) as rhe leaves are very dark and plant is about to finish. Should I add nutes? If so, with my Fox Farm soil, how early should I be adding said nutes? Fox Farm seems to say everything i need is already in the soil..My 5 gal cloth pots are layered with approx 1/3 Cali Super Soil (bottom) and 2/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forest (top). I assume when the roots reach the super soil all nutes will be supplied. But what happens until then? Should i provide nutes until they reach the SS and if so what kind?

Hydro - Ec stable, Ph dropping - Raise EC instead of lowering it ?I have the feeling that when there's not a lot of nutes, PH drops but it means I have to add EC, not lower it. I noticed this when I fed them with a very low EC. I added more EC and they ate a lot right away. What did you experience ? Has to do with them eating all cal-mag ? THX

Soil amendingThis 20 gallon pot is Fox Forest soil heavily amended. There are 3 plants growing and doing great. I want to plant new plants where the clover is growing as soon as these finish. My plan is to slowly add amended soil to the top. Will this work? Will the next round be successful?
