Looking for tips on how to make the buds frosty as possible. Is this more a genetics thing or are there things I can do to max out the trichomes development as much a possible lol. Starting 3rd week of flower and not really noticing any crystals developing yet. Thanks

Patience is all that's needed in this stage my friend keep to your feed schedule. It will be plain sailing from here. Don't worry they will get very frosty strain dependent. If that's what your looking for coated trikes I would suggest trying to grow the stronger stains they tend to have more of a trich development but as a grower has said these buds are very immature. Trike development will usually start after 4 weeks of flower and the amount is strain dependent. I know they are very photo genic but more trikes does not necessarily mean nicer bud its all about the pheno type. from 4 weeks until about 12 weeks flowering your plant will continue to grow new trikes and mature the old ones too so you know its really upto you how much you want and do you want to risk it trying to self pollenate in a chance at more trichs the choice is yours my friend keep up the great work :) 👊

These buds are pretty early in development and normally the girls frost up toward the end of flower. Yes its 80% genetics imo but you can get that 20% with environmental and supplemental changes as well. I personally like to lower the light intensity 2-3 weeks out to help ripen the plant (this can be done by simply lifting the light or using a dimmer). I keep the humidity low to 45-50 as well. I also like to use terpinator. Idk I've done side by sides with it and it just works imo (no im not sponsored lol). I use that in the final month of flower.

Here ya go m8- https://journals.ashs.org/hortsci/view/journals/hortsci/54/5/article-p964.xml p.s. its not complete draught, that will kill them, its a controlled draught period, where they will have more thirsty time. This improves production of all cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils within the plant, including our so much loved thc/thca.

Its genetic, some show cristals as soon as 2 weeks of flower, others show cristals only at 6th week and forward. But there are a couple things you could do to boost thc. By order of efficacy- Proven/1- Uv-B supplemental lighting Proven/1- Draught period at the right time wich is somewhere around week 7 of flower. Anecdotal/3- delta nueve used as a spray Anecdotal/4- dark for 48h at the end Anecdotal/5- sing to your plants Anecdotal/6- ignore number 5 😆 I would do the proven ones but feel free to do many others have done. Stay lit growmie. Cheers. Imma get a link here of a study on the scientifically proven ones.
