A good way to get rid of gnats other than yellow stickers is to get rid of their larvae, they lay their eggs in moist soils so try letting your grow medium dry for an extra day or two, water again when the top 7.5cm/3inches of the soil is completely dry or ASAP when the plant shows wilting signs.
