Thank you all for the insight. I woke up today and all the roots outside of the pot thinned out and almost disappeared, they are in airpots so I think they worked themselves out. :D

I think we're gonna need a bigger pot! Or if its an airpot, it will fix itself.

Nothing that's a sign of a good healthy root system. I grow in fabric pots which I dont know what your using but my roots always grows through the side and bottom of pots and get air pruned then branch out more inside the pot.

That was a pretty long answer below. To sum it up if you see roots poking out it means they're looking for extra space so if they don't look like they've started to flower yet, the best option would be to move them to a 12 or 15 l pot with lots of extra healthy grow medium. 😜🌱👍

Roots growing out of the pot is usually a sign where the pot is too small for the plant and it is time to transplant! In your case I am not sure which pot you're using so I'll explain all/most of them -normal plastic/clay pot with drain holes - will work but least efficient because when roots reach the bottom they start growing out of the bottom holes into the drain and will easily cause root rot and root bind. -air pots - which are great option with good drainage and air pruning (roots grow out of the holes on the side instead of bottom and dry out when they contact air) -fabric pots - also a very good option that work in a same manner as the air pots, roots grow out of the side of the fabric and dry when contacting air (air pruning) *The choice between air and fabric pots usually depends of personal preference and use. *For your situation as long as your plants are still in vegetation then transplanting or pruning the roots is the best choice, for transplanting try putting them in a 11+ liter pots and since they are autos then keep your grow space and room you have for the pot itself in mind (the bigger the pot is the more room for roots she have so the more time you have until flowering the bigger the pot you'll need). Root pruning while in the same pot is done by removing the pot after about an hour from watering (so the medium will be firm and wont fall apart when you take it out of the pot) and carefully cutting the smaller newer roots that start growing around the bottom of the plant. Transplanting would be a better option for you since root pruning may cause unnecessary stress to your plants! Hope this helps! good luck and happy growing :)
