Just had a fungus gnat issue. Diatomaceous earth sprinkled on the soil killed 90% of them. Good luck!

Not sure how this will help you know. But I’m using a supersoil, and put a 1/4” layer of sand on the bottom. No gnat issue so far

Throw in a Hot Shot pest strip overnight and wake up to dead gnats. 🤘😤

hi,
i use to leave 1 inch perlite layer on the top of the soil. this will prevent new gnats to get out and go to reproduce. you can also put a potato slice in each pot and change it every 2.3 days. gnats will go to reproduce in it

Aphid EradicationHow to ensure complete removal of aphids from grow tent? How long can they live without plants? Is soap solution enough to wipe out aphids present? I would like to use chemicals but not available in ontario. Sprayed with soap 3x but never seem to get them all, esp in flower tent.

Aphids I think?!Being hit with a lot of learning curves this week! Just discovered a small Aphid I think. Green/clear very small with no wings. Ive been using biobizz leaf coat twice in the last week to try help them outdoors. Had caterpillars and today aphids. Get spray or predators?

What is the right way to place yellow sticky traps?I'm having some fungus gnats and was planning to begin LST in a couple of days so I can't keep the traps in the pot near the soil like I have them now. Rust colored spots on leaves. Please help! Thanks3 days ago found one tiny leafhopper, haven’t seen any more. Misted the leaves with dish soap and water. Just got Natria Organic Insecticidal Soap, haven’t used because the plants are in dark. Now have rust colored spots on leaves. Is it from leafhoppers, dish soap, other? Thanks

Growth is twisted. Is it because of Fungus gnats ?I have fungus gnats (black flies) for less than a week. Temp 29°c, water Ph was at 7 (now 6.5). I didn't think there were so many flies but look at those twisted leaves on 2 plants ! I've put some Diatomaceous Earth yesterday.
